Down below are information about what we at the JPIC Office in Rome are doing regarding to Tsunami's Disaster in South Asia.

1. We are in contact with JPIC Animators of the affected region and on our web page we have information from them (www.ofm-jpic.org ). We also are in contact with the local Provincials.
2. Our friars in the area are working in close collaboration with the Franciscan Families of each country.
3. The General Curia opened a Bank account for special found which will be direct send to the area and use by the friars to help the local populations (www.ofm-jpic.org ) ( www.ofm.org )
4. We from the JPIC Office will meet the Minister General and the General Definitor for Asia to plan and discuss further actions regarding this issue.
